This weeks Big Dog 97.9/Sportsmans Park Athletes of the Week are the 2008 class of the Joplin Sports Hall of Fame. This years diverse class includes Virginia Lass, one of the best woman golfers in our area, former Parkwood high school football coach Mickey Heatherly, Joplin high and Missouri Southern pitcher Tom Hilton, Jimmy Dailey, Joplin High basketball player and Porter Wittich, long-time sports editor for the Joplin Globe and News-Herald.
Congratulations to this weeks Big Dog 97.9/Sportsmans Park Athletes of the Week-the 2008 class of the Joplin Sports Hall of Fame.
