Joplin Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A Joplin man was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Chevy Blazer this afternoon. The Joplin Police Department says 49-year-old Billie Clark of Joplin was riding a 2001 Harley Davidson northbound on Hearnes Blvd when a Chevy Blazer driven by a 17-year-old male, also from Joplin, crossed in front while heading east on 34th street at around 2:10pm. Clark was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead on the scene. Due to the other driver's age, News Talk KZRG is not publishing his name at this time. Police are investigating the crash.
