The Missouri State Highway Patrol can't urge you enough to slow down while the roads are still a mess. Extra troopers have been working around the clock assisting motorists since Tuesday morning. Sgt. Mike Watson gave News Talk KZRG a breakdown of the accidents they've covered in southweat Missouri.
"Troopers investigated 168 non-injury crashes, 15 injury crashes that included 18 that were injured and assisted 29 stranded motorists."
Watson says they're already gearing up for the next round of snow headed our way later this week. He says you especially need to watch for the slick spots on bridges and over-passes.
