Have you wanted to volunteer for something, but didn't know how to go about it? PCS Phosphate of Joplin and the United Way of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas have teamed up to help you volunteer for something you care about. Kate Massey with the United Way tells News Talk KZRG it's through a program called "Volunteer Solutions."
"It's a platform that integrates into our website, and that'll allow people to year-round go into our "virtual volunteer center." You sign up, put in some information about yourself, and put in dates and times you're available, and you'll be matched up with opportunities."
Massey says Volunteer Solutions will be available online starting August 1st at the United Way website at www.unitedwaymokan.org.
